Born in
Cleethorpes, England in 1943, he attended Grammar School achieving top
of the class status, which was an indication of things to come. In
1964 he migrated to New Zealand which he considered was the best
country in the world to raise a family at that time. In the years that
followed he married, had 2 sons by first wife April, one daughter
between marriages and is now devoted to second wife Priscila. He also
lived and worked in 9 countries gaining valuable experience in the
process.
He
studied part time to complete 2 degrees, built a successful career
firstly as an accountant and then in fund management and trust work.
Capitalizing on the success he had achieved Geoffrey Taylor then
started building businesses for both himself and others. His main interest these days is to
encourage young people to achieve success particularly in the
challenging and changing world of international business.
Working
in Vanuatu, Geoffrey Taylor
was responsible for winning numerous international awards for fund
management. In 1997 he
was appointed Vice President, Investment Management, for
European Bank
Limited, where he contracted some services and won many global awards for
fund management / fund performance.
To
look after his personal assets in the best manner possible,
Geoffrey
Taylor
designed a portfolio concept that is somewhat different to the usual
approach internationally. He will share this with you if you ask for it.
Geoffrey Taylor
founded the GT Group of Companies for its owners. He has over 25 years experience
in offshore jurisdictions covering the fields of Fund Management and
Structures.
He is
currently President of
Southern Pacific University where the Faculty have elected him to
the position of Professor;
Director of Corporate services company
Global Fin Net.
The Government of
Vietnam approved a much valued award
for services to education in the country during 2007 through South
Pacific University. His work in the field of education continues with a
serious project to become a world leader in technology to the sector.
